Linnea Henriksson - Lyckligare nu

As a part of my happiness project and part one (boosting energy) I have paid attention to the music I am listening. It is mostly pretty happy and light, luckily! Here is a song I have listened a lot lately.... it happens to be about happiness! ;)

Have a happy Sunday!

Photolover's newest crush - Pinterest

I am allowed to pin only 5 minutes in a day. I made the rule as soon as I got hooked on Pinterest (and that was pretty much few seconds after I opened the site for the first time). I can see myself going through endless amounts of photos and spending hours and hours doing so if I didn't have the rule. ;) Seriously I don't pin everyday, don't have time for it.

Pinterest is a place where you can pin other's photos and they will appear on your board.

HERE you can see what I have pinned so far - and you can follow me as well.

Happy pinning! =)

The Happiness Project starts!

Do you remember what I wrote about the happiness project -book ... eh... more than a year ago? (Don't worry, I didn't think you would. ;) ) Anyhow I started to read the book again, because I have been stressing out especially during the night. And I do not like it one bit. So I will try to make everything as the writer says. One chapter at the time: one per a week. The writer is doing it one exercise / theme per a month, but with my restlessness one per a week is better (maybe she will teach me something about that too).

So the chapter one is boost energy. So this week and the next (because it is Thursday already) I will try to be more energetic.

Here is what the book says I should do to boost my energy:

Go to bed earlier

I really should. I go to bed at 1 a.m. This is hard because I work at home and sometimes I get inspired late at night and before I realice it is 1 a.m. :( I still need my 8 hrs sleep, so that is a terrible waste to wake up at 9, because I like the mornings, too.

Exercise better

Well I do not exercise, haven't for years, but my biceps are huge and I don't carry extra weight. The muscles are good because I do lots of things, carry heavy stuff, my camera gear etc. around. I also have a dog and help at the farm in summertime. And I never had a car. I think the hormones and stress keep me in this weight. Note: women, you can always blame your crazy little hormones! ;) So I try to exercise. I actually miss yoga. And dance lessons.

Toss, restore, organize

Yes mam, I will. I seriously need to. I am very good at this few times in a year and it feels so so very good and cleans the house and my mind as well.

Tackle a nagging task

This is important because sometimes I have a little task, say I have to go through some photos. I am postponing it and stressing about it and when I finally do it it is not even hard and doesn't even take that much time.  I have always been this way and always admired people who don't leave things until the last minute.

Act more energetic

Fake until you make it? Ok, got it. =)

Yle - Sinun tarinasi

Haloo, are you still there????

...not really expecting you to be there, because it has been... errr... forever and a half since my last post. S o r r y .

In autumns I like to start things. Since I am not studying this year I am trying this blogging thing again.

Here is something I've really missed: a phone, a lur, the lur of the phone! Do you remember those long long conversations on the phone we use to have before the cellphones??? Do you remember how we could talk until the late hours?? In bed or on the couch? When I still lived home my mum use to complain about holding the phone for hours and about talking at 1 am with my high school boyfriend on the phone on a school night. That was that sort of fun that disappeared when we started to use cellphones. Mostly because it was more expensive to talk on the cell and secondly the cellphones are thinner, they just dont have the same feeling as the lur.

I went to Habitare (furniture) fair and what did my old tired eyes see???? A lur that you can connect to your cellphone!!!! YES, I had to buy one immediately if not sooner.

So the next day I use it ... a lot. My mum wasn't nagging now but I am sure I have to take a chill pill after I open my next phone bill... oops.

Here are few (too many) shots of the wonderful thing (oh and the lur is Native Union Pop Phone in case you want to buy one. I have no idea where else they sell these, but google it. And oh they have lots of other colors too. I love the yellow.) :

"That work opportunity sounds amazing! I am in."

"I miss you too honey..."

"I think I need a pedicure..."

"I see the neighbors have a new car. It's nice!"

"Oh man, he is just not into to you if he doesn''t call you... He will tho."

"Yeah but I'm sure you can wear that dress with those shoes..."

"That's just too funny!"
